Some actions inside Tayon.ai uses transaction credits. Think of credits as the “fuel” that powers some of the services in your plan. Each time you send an email, some starts a Conversationall Site flow, AI is used to generate or process messages, or send an Instant Message (SMS or WhatsApp), a certain number of credits is used.

Your plan comes with a monthly allowance of credits. You can spend them however you want: more emails, more AI Agents, or more Instant messages. This way, you’re always in control.

When your monthly credits run out, services that require credits (AI processing, Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Conversational Site Sessions) will pause until:

• ◾️ Your credits reset at the beginning of the next billing cycle, or
• ◾️️ You upgrade to a higher plan with more credits.

You will receive alerts in the app and in your email when your credits are running low, so you have time to upgrade your plan accordingly.

Credits Used Per Transaction Type

• ◾️1,000 AI tokens (AI processing) = 1 credit
• ◾️1 Conversational Site Session = 1 credit
• ◾️1 Email Message Sent = 1 credit
• ◾️1 SMS Sent to a US/Canada number = 10 credits
• ◾️1 SMS Sent to outside the US = 60 credits
• ◾️1 Non Official API WhatsApp number connected = 5 credits per hour

Some Examples

• ◾️If you send 500 emails in a month, that’s 500 credits.
• ◾️If you use AI to generate 2,000 words (≈ 4,000 tokens), that’s about 4 credits.
• ◾️If you send 20 SMS in the US, that’s 200 credits.
• ◾️If you mix them:
     500 emails (500 credits) +
     4,000 AI tokens (4 credits) +
     20 US SMS (200 credits =
     704 credits total.

What Happens if You Run Out of Credits?

• ◾️AI won’t generate new messages.
• ◾️Emails, and SMS won’t be sent.
• ◾️Conversational Sites won’t work.
• ◾️All other Tayon functionalities that don't use credits will keep working.

* WhatsApp numbers cannot be connect on the Free and Express Plans (these plans can send transactional messages using the official API, but transactional credits will be charged). If you use our WhatsApp numbers from the official API, then the credits will be discounted at the same rates of SMS messages.
